Attire Club is very excited to announce a new chapter in our work. Today, on the 2/22, we are launching the first Attire Club products consisting of contemporary bow ties for men.
Crafted by using a ‘hand-made’ technique, the collection is composed of a variety of styles of the same accessory. But the new bow ties are more than a modern take on the classic piece: we decided to design a collection of twelve bow ties that would be relevant to today’s men who search to identify their clothes and accessories with their lifestyles and personalities. This is the reason why we created the bow ties from a variety of fabrics in a wide range of colors and styles.
The collection is an experiment through which we wanted to see whether we could link our vision to a collection of classic pieces, which are hard to adapt and modify.
For this small project, we wanted to use a very simple medium to demonstrate how even a simple factor, such as the fabric of an accessory can speak volumes about the man wearing it. A flashy purple fabric is just right for a guy who dazzles in the world of illusionists, while a strong, but creative and flexible fabric is the right way to represent a scholar.
We wanted to present the bow ties in context, as we know that they are never worn on blank sheets. One of our philosophies here at Attire Club is that our medium is just as important as our clothes. It’s rare to exist outside of a context and the surroundings we find ourselves in have a massive impact on the way we are perceived and feel.
Twelve bow ties, each with it’s own personality, just like the twelve months of the year, the twelve sun signs or even the twelve cranial nerves, are our fashion proposition for the spring-summer 2014 season. The goal of the collection is to celebrate diversity, embrace one another and accept ourselves for who we are.
We wrote for each bow tie a shirt description, in the form of a statement, to complete the statement written so far. Flip through the gallery to see the pictures and read the descriptions.
Going deep in any field is not easy, but that’s why there aren’t many experts in the world. For the man who is greatly intrigued by how the world works and how he can use it best, we present him with this bow tie!

A sturdy, but flexible and elegant fabric is what ‘”The Soldier” bow tie is made from The unconventional fabric stands for the way military men and those who identify with them always have to improvise in a world full of unexpected events and still make the best of it.
For those who sometimes feel adrift, but who never fail to try to be in the best control of their lives, we developed “The Sailor” bow tie.
Sometimes saying “no” is the hardest thing, and this is what we wanted to celebrate with this bow tie. Being discontent can sometimes push things further and taking a stand can take anything to the next level!
Even though this one is a tough one in terms of feel and look, “The Professor” does not lack creativity and openness. These are the qualities that will make him go far and befriend even his worst enemy. Because, as we know, the power of a man does not lie in his physical strength, but in his ability to broaden even the narrowest of minds.
They say that calm waters go deep and this is just the thing this bow tie wants to show: even though artists might look soft and frail, at times they are the ones strong enough to go the deepest into the human mind.
Being a diplomat is not something anyone can achieve, but when one does, the results follow immediately, and they are usually more positive than he might expect.
Traveling further than anyone has done, astronomers are those who daydream, but work on fulfilling their dreams. Working hard pays off, so if your work is your dream, then keep on dreaming.
Making bold choices is the main characteristic of eclectic, eccentric and extraordinary men. Stepping out of the conventions is hard, but just as rewarding.
This bow tie is active, dynamic and fearless. A strong color is a strong statement made by a man who is not afraid of measuring up.
For the traveler who likes to embark on a new adventure, no goal is too high, as, for him, the journey is the goal!
