Ah, home sweet home. I’m back after a fun, inspiring but also freezing 4 days of Copenhagen Fashion Week. Winter fashion weeks aren’t the easiest. I brought plenty of stuff to wear obviously, because it was fashion week, but ended up not being able to wear half of it because of the really cold weather and the fact that it was snowing during 3 of the 4 days I went. I don’t find it that easy to look amazingly fashionable when it’s that cold, but that’s personal. Most of the people walking around looked amazing, were on their pumps or even open-toe shoes (!) and bare midriffs, but I had a busy schedule in CPH with shows and meetings so what I was wearing, I wore all day and there’s no walking on high heels in stuff that is too cold all day, especially not when you’re just a normal girl taking the bus instead of cabs or having drivers. Please don’t mistake this for whining or judging others, I just like to tell you what I wear and what’s behind it. I didn’t mind walking around in the same coat for 4 days because it was the only coat I brought. I didn’t mind walking around in the cold all day because I saw lots of pretty Copenhagen. And I didn’t even mind the snow, because I like snow in a way that it makes a city a lot prettier than gray rainy winter-weather does.
But I’m also happy to be back and the sun is shining, I slept for 10 hours straight and am about to unpack. Unpack quite a lot actually, because a last minute shopping spree made the end of CPHFW very special. But more about that later.. Happy Sunday!
