The Farrah Fawcett Foundation and MORE Management announced the NFT sale related to the iconic red swimsuit poster. In addition, the expected NFT sales will be live on their official website until May 23, 2022.
Farrah Fawcett’s legacy returns to us digitally. At the age of 75, The Farrah Fawcett Foundation announced its plan to release a limited edition NFT series.
Meantime, the poster is a well-known pin-up photo from 1976 featuring the “Charlie’s Angels” actress posing in a swimsuit. In deed, the poster was sold more than 12 million copies.
In addition, the highlight of this auction is a 1 in 1 “Farrah Gold Edition” that is a re-imagination of the well-known red swimsuit poster.
Besides, the winner of the “Farrah Fawcett Gold Edition” auction can spend a weekend at Resorts World in Las Vegas. Additionally, the prizes contain a museum-class digital canvas to show the NFT.
There are five versions for sale, a total of 222 pieces with various rare levels. Plus, an open version of the NFT “Always Farrah” will be for sale at $300 just during the auction time.
Actually, the proceeds from the NFT sale will go to Farrah Fawcett’s non-profit organization. In addition, her organization backs HPV-related cancer research, patient care, and prevention efforts.
Eventually, expert NFT artist Elise Swopes created the NFTs. In addition, she has a successful track record of providing NFTs and was pleased to cooperate with the Farrah Fawcett Foundation.
