There will be no season 8 of Legends of Tomorrow DC because it has been announced that the show has been canceled after the seventh season. With Netflix bringing Legends of Tomorrow in many countries around the world, some are looking for services to provide a shipping revival series but there may be nothing.The air on the American network CW, Legends of Tomorrow is a superhero series that has been running for a long time starring Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvill, Caith Lotz, and Franz Drameh.The series first began aired throughout 2016 and ended running it on March 2, 2022.
In many regions, this event is exclusively available on Netflix. Most of Europe, Asia and Latin America receive a DC weekly episode that is increasingly rare. Netflix in the United States used to receive the initial season every fall but it increased to get a new season for only one week or more after each season.Season 7, which is now the last season, arrived at Netflix in the United States on March 10, 2022. With the last season now on Netflix, it means that Netflix will lose the show in March 2027.
Unogs reported that at least 30 countries are currently channeling all seven seasons.The reason for the cancellation of the event is unclear. Digitalspy speculates the possibility because of internal problems in CW, ranking and the fact that Arrowverse will almost support various new DC performances.
Keto Shimizu, who served as Co-Showrunner Legends of Tomorrow, went down to Twitter to announce the cancellation on April 30 which said:”Well, friend. This is an extraordinary run. However, CW has told us that there will be no season 8 of #legendsoftomorrow. We broke our hearts, but also very grateful for our extraordinary work, crew, and writers have contributed to small shows that can.
Thank you to our fans; Your love and desire for a group of strange misfits we have made every rest, every manuscript, every day, every piece, and every mixture of hard work. We see you, we love you, and you will always have a place in Waverider.
The cancellation is surprising for many people because CW is usually good enough when letting the show wrap in a good way.Cancellation that is not on time has caused fans to make petitions and use social media to try and get stored performances. Most conversations use the hashtag #savelegendsoftomorrow.
Could and should Netflix revive Legends of Tomorrow?
In fact, the opportunity for the event to get a resurrection on Netflix is no slender, at least in our view.Previously the resurrection of Netflix from the show was often with a lower mileage show at hours (less seasons) and which was not connected to other performances such as Legends of Tomorrow. With many Arrowverse who are expected to leave Netflix over the next decade to HBO Max, that’s where the event must be updated if anywhere.
Our friends on Netflix Life are also pessimistic about the chances of future legends (or Batwoman who also receive a piece) get the resurrection of Netflix.However, fans will continue to campaign for Netflix or HBO Max to provide a decent performance.
