Story: Family Switch starts as we meet the Walkers, Jess (Garner), Bill (Helms), CC (Myers), Wyatt (Noon) and Miles. They are living different lives and starting to feel disconnected from each other. Jess is letting her work and controlling nature take over. Bill is still dreaming of becoming a musician rather than just teaching music. CC is on the edge of being scouted by the national football team. Wyatt is preparing for Yale and dealing with high school bullying.
However, the family get together for a seasonal tradition, and they end up waking up in swapped bodies. They have the biggest days of their lives today and now they must understand how to live with each other’s lives before it is too late.
Verdict on Family Switch
Family Switch is a family comedy following a family that swap bodies after a freak incident. They must spend a day in a different member of the family body to understand what the big makes them happy in life. However, nothing can prepare them for what the day must hold for them.
This is a body-swapping comedy that is all about a family needing to understand their other family member’s life. It follows the traditional adaption problems they must adapt to, with age differences. There is a host of moments that create an awkward series of events that address problems in other body-swapping movies. While the family dynamic swaps get the laughs and series moments. The baby and dog swapping gets all the best laughs. We get great performances from the whole cast as Jennifer Garner is always going to shine in these types of roles.
