Following its premiere on the Radio 1 Rock Show, Manchester trio False Advertising have shared new single ‘You Won’t Feel Love’ . After supporting Idles and Everything Everything and being hand-picked by Robert Smith to perform at the Meltdown festival in London last year, the band have gone from strength to strength and this is the first glimpse of what’s to come on their next full-length album.
This release comes ahead of gigs with Jamie Lenman and at numerous festivals this summer. Packed with exhilarating hooks, the song has an important message at its core as Jen Hingley sings about the importance of being honest with yourself and how there’s no shame in reaching out when in need, even if it is difficult: ‘I never needed you’.
