Plot: John Peterson lives with his partner Eric and their adopted daughter in Southern California. When he is visited by his aging father who is searching for a place to retire, their two very different worlds collide.

Story: Falling starts when John (Mortensen) is taking his father Willis (Henriksen) home to meet his partner Eric (Chen). They have their own family with an adopted daughter Monica and it sends John down memory lane.
However, the different lives John and Willis have gone through have come to light. It shows the uncomfortable relationship and years of wondering if he should let his father into his life. All while knowing it might be the last time, he sees his father who created a divide in the family.
Verdict on Falling
Falling is a drama following a family from different generations dealing with a generational divide that has seen their lives change. The adult children are trying to help their retiring father find a home closer to home, despite his hateful mindset.
This is a drama that highlights the troubles that come from a father dealing with retirement. It shows how adult children can be willing to put aside hateful comments to try and keep a relationship. However, they face bigger challenges than they ever imagined. This does have a moving storyline and rounded off by excellent performance,
Final Thoughts –Falling is moving drama about troubled parental relationships.
