Welcome to a new era of Fall Out Boy.On September 4, fans of the Chicago band were greeted with blacked out profile and cover photos of the band’s social media accounts. The band then posted a short video that allegedly spells out the name of their new single, “Centuries,” in Morse code.
The band’s official website‘s title also has been changed to “You’ll remember me…,” and many speculate that the phrase is a lyric from the new single.
Fall Out Boy returned from hiatus last February with the song, “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light ‘Em Up),” and have been on tour since with the Save Rock and Roll tours, and their co-headlining tour with Paramore, the Monumentour. The band has released a full-length and an EP since their comeback as a band.
The single, which will be the band’s first release since Save Rock and Roll (besides the EP, Pax Am Days), is available for pre-sale here, and will be released at midnight, local time on September 8, as well.
