For this post I decided to incorporate what I believe to be the 5 essentials in fashion for fall 2013. First off, you will need distressed skinny jeans. They are the perfect tool to making your average outfit look like a stylish one. Who knew we had to pay so much for ripped jeans? Luckily, the Blank NYC ones I found are super cheap, and fit just as well as my Rag & Bones. The second thing you will need this fall is a good denim shirt. (Or two, or three) Third comes the cargo jacket. They come in all shapes, sizes, and bodies, but for me I went with a simple one that I can wear with just about any fall outfit. Fourth comes combat boots. We are seeing these with skinny jeans, skirts, shorts, dresses, leather of all sorts...you name it. And last- a killer pair of shades. Just because the weather is cooler doesn't mean its not sunny out. Fall is the #1 time that people get wrinkles in their eyes from squinting because we all just assume we don't need to wear sunglasses anymore since the nice weather is over. False!
