The suspect, said to hail from Ebonyi State, was arrested in the Aroma Junction area of Awka, the Anambra State capital.
The suspect bandaged his left hand to fake being a deformed person, but luck ran out on him when some policemen on duty took a closer look at him.
An eyewitness, who gave her name as Agatha, said,
"He wanted to run when the police officers stationed in the area accosted him after noticing his suspicious movements.
Upon closer look, the policemen discovered that the suspect had no injury on his bandaged left arm as he purported.
"They arrested him and discovered cash of various denominations on him and weed.
Confessing he said he had been in the business for 2years.
