Faith-based production company Pure Flix has released a first look at their next big feature: ‘Unbroken: Path To Redemption.’
‘Unbroken: Path To Redemption’ tells the second half of Olympic gold medalist Louis Zamperini’s life after he returns to America from World World II as a prisoner of war survivor. The new film details the encounter Zamperini had with the late Billy Graham that would change the hero’s life forever.
The sequel picks up where Angelina Jolie’s 2014 epic saga UNBROKEN ends, continuing the amazing true story of the Olympian and World War II hero.
Unbroken: Path To Redemption in theaters October 5th
Following the Allied victory in World War II, UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTION tells the story of Zamperini’s experiences returning to the United States. When the war ended, his real battle began. Haunted by nightmares of his torment, Louis sees himself as anything but a hero. Then, he meets Cynthia, a young woman who captures his eye-and his heart.
Louie’s wrathful quest for revenge drives him deeper into despair, putting the couple on the brink of divorce. Cynthia turns to God, and prays for Louis to find peace and forgiveness.
Zamperini encountered the life-transforming power of Jesus Christ when his wife practically dragged him to a Billy Graham meeting under a Los Angeles circus tent in 1949.
“My life was completely changed ever since,” Zamperini said in a video from the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
