“A perfect English summers day in the fairtale setting of the Lost Orangery along with the cutest dog in a floral collar made us feel part of a magical bridal fantasy. “I really enjoyed the shoot, getting married for the day is always bonus! The highlight for me was using smoke grenades supplied by Charlotte, this is something I have never seen on a shoot so quite exciting. For me it felt very comfortable shooting with the girls and mainly Jade therefore I hope the images looked very natural.” – Max George White – Male Model

“Ever since Charlotte and I met, I’ve been a fan of her beautiful sense of style. I took one look at the mood board and fell in love with the beautiful colours and the French styling. The idea for a “less traditional” wedding cake instantly clicked with me, and I knew I wanted to be a part of this and make something beautiful. I wanted to create something that would incorporate the beautiful blue hues, while also being less traditional. In the end I went for a trio of deep blue drip cakes, accented with sweet treats and flowers. Desserts as a stylish and delicious accompaniment to wedding cakes are a growing trend. I chose some caneles and some profiteroles as I thought they added a beautiful finishing touch. The Lost Orangery was an amazing venue, and a truly “hidden gem” in Chippenham.” – Fehintola Bolodeoku – MonAnnie Confectionary

“I wanted to take part in the shoot as I’ve been following La Fete online for a while and really love the style of weddings that been shown. The venue truly captured the beauty of the English countryside and all it has to offer so would be the perfect location for an intimate wedding weekend. The stationery was designed with a fresh but simple look using delicate flowers and opulent gold foil to capture the shoot style and the decadence of the venue.” – Pri Kruijen – London Wedding Stationery

“I was so pleased to be asked to work on this project as I wanted to work with a collection of independent small business who are influential people in the industry and are brilliantly talented at their professions. I was inspired by nature and natural things for this shoot; shells, water & mother of pearl all show natural beauty. We kept the makeup dewy, clean and only enhanced the natural features of each model, just like a natural element, we wanted to show the model’s beauty with their own originality. The highlight of the day was working with the beautiful English Bulldog Auguste! Seeing him wearing a flower garland and following command in French made everyone’s hearts melt! Speaking to each of the unique suppliers was really lovely, I appreciated hearing how they network and trade with other business in the uk and around the world.” – Natalie Morton – Natalie Morton Hair & Make-up

“Zita was thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you and with the lovely team that you assembled. She was also tempted into the project by the beautiful venue. Zita always loves working in a site specific way when she is designing. For your brief she chose all blue flowers to include hydrangea, rose, sweetpea, scabiosa , spanish moss, smoke bush and statice. The idea was to create a sophisticated feel with a touch of evocative mystery to reflect the old world romantic setting.”– Zita Elze – Zita Elze flowers
