Face of the Day: Uni Edition.

face of the day: uni edition.
Breaking away from the somewhat self imposed trap of just posting outfit of the day posts, I thought 'Why not change things up a bit?' Which is why I'm now getting my bum into gear and cobbling together another (late, opps!) blog post. Only this time I've gone with an age-old blogger's favorite...  *pause for drum roll and dramatic effect* a face of the day look for the day's of the week when I'm at Uni and want to keep things (mostly) as simple as humanly possible.
face of the day: uni edition.Point number one. Please for the love of all things good and decent, excuse my tragic eyebrows in this picture. I'm one of the world's laziest people when it comes to keeping them maintained and stopping them from growing out of control and looking like the very hungry caterpillar has taken over my face. As of the other day they're finally back to looking normal and groomed, just fyi. Thought I'd share that little golden nugget of information. When getting ready in the morning's I've grown to love the 'less is more look' so whatever I can paint onto my face in less than fifteen mins or so has become my go to choices. For this look (which I'll admit now was done in the middle of a Historical Context lesson in between some serious note taking about Hedda Garbla and Ibsen, I went with the following:
face of the day: uni edition. For foundation I used the Benefit Oxygen Wow foundation in 'I'm Pure For Sure' (not pictured, because that I actually did do at home.) For eyes I kept it easy and relatively natural with my ever faithful Soap & Glory Supercat liquid eyeliner in carbon Black; and then added a coat of Maybelline Great Lash mascara in  blackest black for good measure. In a feeble attempt at making my brows somewhat decent, or at least trying to, I used the Soap & Glory Archery Brow Tint & Pencil in Brownie Points. Lips is one of my latest and much loved discoveries, Rimmel London 1000 Kisses lip liner in Black Tulip. I seriously can't stress how amazing these liners are. They stay on all day, are a matte effect and for just £2.99 they're a utter steal! And then I finally went over it all with the Rimmel Stay Matte translucent powder using the Real Techniques  powder brush to keep everything in place.
