This is the Extra 330/SC flown by Australian airshow pilot Aarron Deliu, a new face on the West Coast airshow circuit. His plane is seen here after a flight performance at the 2026 Wing Over Solano airshow at Travis AFB. The Extra 330SC is a high-performance, carbon-fiber aircraft engineered for world-class unlimited aerobatic competition. The 315 horsepower up front allow for a generous power-to-weight ratio and a climb rate of roughly 3,200 feet per minute. The aircraft is certified for load factors up to +/- 10g. Designed in 1987 by Walter Extra, a German aerobatic pilot, the Extra 300 first flew in 1988 and is still in production.
