Located between the Caribbean, the South Pacific and the South Atlantic Oceans, South America wonderfully blends natural wonders, ancient civilizations and modern culture. It has a wealth of natural wonders such as Amazon, the largest rainforest in the world, the Andes, the highest mountain range, remote islands such as the Galapagos Islands, Easter Island and Fernando de Noronha, fascinating beaches, wide deserts, icy landscapes such as Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego, Angel Falls, the highest waterfall in the world and Iguaçu Falls, one of the largest waterfalls in the world. Here, we discussed three places to visit in South America. When you are visiting South America, you must not miss trips to the Galapagos, Colombia backpackers and travel to Chile.

The Galápagos islands are distributed on both sides of the equator in the Pacific Ocean. These islands are famous for being the residence of a large number of endemic species, which were extensively studied by Charles Darwin and formed an important part of Darwin's theory. Trips to the Galapagos are generally very expensive, but they are the first choice of travelers who wish to have a glimpse of South America.

Colombia is officially known as the Republic of Colombia. It is a unitary constitutional republic made up of thirty-two departments and is located in the North West of South America. A trip to Colombia gives you the opportunity to explore nature, history, adventure and the modern world entirely. When you're backpacking in Columbia, you can explore modern cities with pubs, discos, skyscrapers and night clubs, spend relaxing moments on charming Caribbean beaches, explore jungle walks, Amazon safaris, colonial cities, archaeological ruins, coffee plantations and adventurous activities such as trekking in the high mountains, scuba diving, surfing and much more.

Chile is another extraordinary attraction in South America that gives you the opportunity to explore many regions covering beautiful lakes and glaciers, cultural capital and a plethora of adventure activities. If you are visiting Chile, your first stop should be the vibrant capital of the country, Santiago. Also, the Lake District of Chile, made up of Puerto Montt, Puerto Varas and the island of Chile, must visit the places of your trip to Chile.

We recommend that you plan your trip and book tickets and hotels in advance to avoid the rush at the last minute. It also gives you the opportunity to get packages at competitive prices. If you are willing to travel to South America, you should consult travel agencies better to guide you on travel packages within your budget. You need to do your research and choose only a reputable travel agency before opting for any travel packages for the trip to South America.
