Excuse Me Sir…that is the Ladies Room!

Twice during my tenure at a gay and lesbian friendly bar/restaurant,
did i mistake a woman with short hair for a man. I don’t remember the
first time it happened but the second time, I saw what to me looked
like a really skinny guy with short, spiky hair about to enter the
ladies room. I saw this person from behind and as they were about to
enter i said, in what i thought was a light-hearted tone, “Excuse me
sir that is the ladies room…” At this point, SHE turns around and
gives me a smirk and says “oh I know…” At least she wasn’t angry but
I still felt like a dumbass.
