Exciting April in PGCo

By Ceemac126 @PGCBlogging

There are a cool few things going on in the County this month.  If you know of more, holla, and I’ll add them.  As you know, my main goal is to stay within PGCo over the weekend.  Now I can grab some decent frozen yogurt, catch up on the latest fitness moves and fashions, and take in a film screening (see post) or an oratory competition, all within county lines.

Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt
Thursday, April 4th there is a Sweet Frog Frozen Yogurt opening at the Woodmore Towne Center, 9300 Woodmore Center Drive, Suite 507.  Yay!  I know it might not seem like much to some but every business that takes up residence in PGCo is appreciated.  Well, not every business.  I took a gander at their yogurt flavors and was happy to see they also offer a “no sugar added” selection.  Yes, Ceemac is in the throws of cutting back sugar, and yes, it sucks.

Get Kids Movin

Saturday, April 6th, there is a fitness and fashion show for kids presented by Sports Zone Elite and Think Brown INK called Get Kids MOVIN!!! I love it! And because there is a plus size Juniors section at Burlington Coat Factory now, I think a lot of people need to grab a hold of this themed event.  This event features interactive physical activity, fitness demonstrations, a fashion show, give aways from the Sports Zone and other retailers, along with musical performances and a scavenger hunt.  Saturday April 6th at The Boulevard’s Center Circle, 821 Capital Center Blvd, from 1:00p to 5:00p , the event is hosted by PGCo recording artist Reesa Renee, LaTonya Swann of BET’s “Born to Dance”, and Nike Trainer Deanna Jefferson.  See the website for more details, pics and RSVP HERE.
