This weekend sees Scotland's electronic music Riverside Festival returning for its 7th year!
Curated by Electric Frog and Maximum Pressure, they will be bringing the biggest and best artists from the cutting edge to the unique and iconic location of the Zaha Hadid designed Riverside Museum.
Collaborations Daphni + Hunee, Objekt & Stingray, Optimo & Carista and Rødhad & Âme and stages hosted by Slam's Maximum Pressure, Denis Sulta, renowned Glasgow club La Cheetah and the legendary Feel My Bicep.
This year sees the addition of a whole new area complete with new stage Dockland and Glasgow's very own multi-award winning Street Food Market Big Feed who will bring seven incredible food offerings in the form of: Firedog, Salt & Chilli, Dick Street Food, Bao Wow Buns, Lutis Wood Burning Oven, Yum Yum on the Run and Hector and Harriet.
Organisers are also thrilled to launch their 1st ever Riverside Festival app for iOS and Android phones. Download it for FREE here. With with the app, you can find your friends around the site; create your own personalised timetable and easily access the site map & set times.
For 2019, Riverside Festival has teamed up with Forty Clothing to present a very special VIP experience on The Tall Ship which will span above and below deck. Forty Clothing, for the first time, will bring a genre-spanning programme of music to the deck below. Then there are all the essentials that will help make the gig experience amazing - drinking on the deck of the tall ship overlooking stage 2, toilets, bar, a free cloakroom with phone charging facilities. There's even super styling from Safe Hands Barbers; glitter, gems, braids and everything in between to festify your look from Bang Bang Beauty and Hair by Hayley Sweeney. Forty have also provided a goody bag with t-shirt, phone cover plus more.
And for those wishing to continue dancing there is a brilliant array of Riverside Festival After Dark parties on offer to continue into the small hours.
