I attended a spa event on December 1st and this is what I wore.
This was my first time attending an "in the spa-t-light" event so I wasn't sure what to expect. I knew there were going to be mini manicures, massages, waxing, make-up, hair, and a number of other "booth" type set ups. I went in cozy clothes, unpainted nails, and strait hair because I didn't know what I was going to have done. I mean, if you are going you might as well take advantage of the services and see if you find someone you may start seeing on the regular!Top: Target // Jeans: Tommy Hilfiger // Shoes: c/o Sole Society // Earrings: Just Fab // Scarf: Craft Fair // Necklace: House of Gemmes // Rings: T+J Designs // Jacket: Golden Tote // Bag: MNG by Mango
They had this adorable set up on the second floor of the YMCA.
Here's a birds eye view of the layout. You were even able to climb the wall if you wanted! I have done that quite a few times so I wasn't too bummed out that I wore the wrong shoes. ;)
Most of the vendors were from the Phoenix Salon Suites building where Bare Spa is located.
Which is great for me since I already go out that way once every four to six weeks. Needless to say I'm pretty sure I found my new favorite manicurist and hair girl! ;) I ended up getting my nails done, a mini massage, my hair curled (and yes I got a Pink Pewter headband), bought a few hair pretties for my bean, and picked up scarfs and hats for the kids too from a woman who had an entire table of knitted goods! One unexpected but cool booth was where you get your aura read. As I suspected I ended up having red, orange, and yellow in my aura. Which means I need to RELAX! lol Tell me something I don't know!
Here is the Bare Spa area. Kelly was doing waxing, selling gift cards (which make great holiday gifts!), selling sugar scrubs for your hands, and she even had donuts for everyone. Such a sweet gal!
