Verdict on Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time
Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time takes us back into the war between the Nerv’s and the resistance. It shows the next threat coming after stopping the previous series of threats. In this battle, the stakes are raised and it becomes the last chance to stop them for good.
This is an action sci-fi animation that follows on from the previous films in the series. It does give you a quick flashback through the franchise in the opening sequences. However, if you haven’t seen the other movies, this does become more difficult to follow. I am sure if you are a fan of the franchise, you will love this movie. However, if you haven’t seen one of the movies before, you will find yourself completely lost with the events of the movie. When it comes to everything involved, we get massive fights and destruction sequences, showing the pure scale of the war we find ourselves in. It feels like a fitting ending to a series that had captivated fans around the world.
Where to Watch: Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time is heading to the cinemas on the 6th of October.
Final Thoughts –Evangelion: 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon a Time is a fitting conclusion to the saga.
