On Saturday September 16, as part of this year’s European heritage days weekend, my real-world employer Thales will be opening the doors to the Domaine Catros arboretum and I will be present to guide visitors on site. Thank you Thales!
The arboretum was first founded after the French revolution by former royal gardener Toussaint-Yves Catros. Over the years it has endured countless ups and downs and it lies on land currently occupied by Thales and Airbus Safran Launchers.
The guided tour I will be providing will be mainly focused on the historical background of the arboretum, although nature-lovers will no doubt enjoy viewing the fascinating greenery!
The three guided tours will be conducted on Saturday September at 10:00, 14:00 and 16:00. Groups will be limited to 25 participants and advance registration is essential: please send an email to [email protected]. You will then receive a link to finalize your registration.
See you there!
