The recent product launching of Etude House was probably the sweetest and cutest one I was ever invited to! Sugar high and sweetness overload! They partnered with sister company, Tous Les Jour to bring their latest Spring collection to life. Their newest product line aptly called Sweet Recipe was inspired by Hansel and Gretel’s Gingerbread and Candy House. You’ll be seeing lots of pastel tones in this collection, as well as Dessert & Candy motifs for package design and concepts. It will definitely make little and big girls alike gush with excitement!
The whole dessert buffet table was filled with real food and Sweet Recipe products. Ohlalala cupcakes!
Pink chocolate fountain, anyone? Too cute to mess around!
Now let’s get to the products! I spotted these rack with cute jellybeans-inspired lipsticks!
This one is inspired by cupcakes! Apparently it’s an overall cream textured color for eyes, lips and cheek once you open it. Amazing!
This one here I honestly thought was COTTON CANDY! But no, they were cotton balls! BUMMER I thought it was the real thing. LOL! But isn’t it cute to have candy colored cotton balls for a change? The standard white ones could be so boring!
And then there were more jellybeans… and candy canes which are actually fruit scented tint lip gloss. Again, amazing packaging and concept! It almost got me into thinking they were the real candy… again!
Another cupcake inspired product - the Sweet Recipe Cupcake Eyes. Unfortunately, there were no display of the actual products. If I’m not mistaken, these wouldn’t be available here in the Philippines.
Icecream lovers would definitely swoon over these nail polishes in cute icecream cone design. The glitter & stone infused pastel nail colors come in 4 shades/flavors - Sprinkles Mint Chocolate Chip, Zingy Lemon Sherbet, Sweet & Sour Apricot Candy, and Twinkling Strawberry Candy. Did I just make your mouth water? Oops, sorry! =P
Among the bunch, this one here I was really tempted to eat! LOL! I can’t help it if I’m a certified choco-aholic… and these cream colored Chocolate Highlighter looked exactly like a real chocolate bar!!! Agree?
The Sweet Recipe Baby Choux Base is a cream textured makeup base that supplies moist, bright coverage for flawlessly soft skin. It smells incredibly delicious that you have to resist yourself from licking the product off your fingers! I’m not kidding.
After circling the dessert buffet/bar, here’s what I got! Two of my favorites - macarons and cupcake! Teehee!
After eating, the new product line was formally introduced to us by Mr. Kim Boram, Etude House Global Specialist. Then a make-up demo commenced with Ms. Lim Haneul, Etude House Makeup Artist.
Me with Ms. Lim! She was so adorable, she even agreed to pose with me with those Sweet Recipe Candy Sticks. Hehehe!
Glad to have bumped into some blogger friends!
Photo op with the president of Etude House Philippines, Ms. Andrea Amado (left) and marketing officer Rea Uy. Thank you for the invitation and for being so accommodating! <3
Each one of us received a cute Etude House dollhouse-inspired paper bag filled with goodies from the Sweet Recipe collection and a Valentine’s edition Rose Inspiration Fresh Cream Cake from Tous Les Jours. Ahhh, everything was so cuuuuute! Again, thank you so much Etude House and Tous Les Jours! <3 I will do a series of product reviews from the Sweet Recipe line soon.
Sweet Recipe collection will be available this March/April so watch out! I assure you that you will be delighted and thrilled once you see the products yourself. Like Etude House and Tous Les Jours on Facebook for more updates.
