Lionel Messi and the Ethernity Chain platform announced a partnership this week to create a collection of fourteen (14) Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) in celebration of Messi’s 17-year career with Argentina’s national soccer team. It has 549 items with a floor price of 0.99 ETH. It was created in November of 2022.
Through a novel, NFT experience that honors Lionel Messi’s countless career accomplishments, travel through time with him. Messi initially steps out of the Time Machine in 2006, when he makes his international debut at the age of 18. He reappears in a series of rare collectibles as 2010 Messi, then 2014 Messi, and 2018 Messi, ending in a golden 2022 Messi figurine immortalizing his distinctive celebratory moves.
Messi fans could purchase a limited edition collectible honoring his start in world football in the summer of 2006, which functioned as an access token to a next-generation NFT experience, which began on November 27th.
