After mentioning one of my ultimate color combos, being that of mint & cream, I had to snap up some photographs of my new mint nail lacquer. I undoubtedly love pastels, but mint takes it to a whole new level, and there is no other place to point the finger than at Lily Pebbles post 'A Minty Spring' as this was partly the reason I snapped it up. Now even more tempting is the mini Brit Stitch satchel. I'm a complete virgin to the Essie brand and the Mint Candy Apple seemed like the ideal starter shade for a beginner, after all mint is perfect for Spring/Summer contrasted against whites and creams. When it comes to nail polish, it partly boils down to the characteristics of the brush. Personally, I like the mine to be thick to hold maximum polish for a full on application of pigmented color. I will definitely be investing in a few more summery shades from this range. Don't forget to keep your eyes peeled for my giveaway this week.
