The month of May is the start of the wedding season and brings to mind spring flowers, white dresses and love in the air, so it is fitting that this month’s Match Made in Heaven from Jonathan’s Fine Jeweler’s are Erin and Paul. I loved communicating with Erin via email while we were putting this together, as she is bubbly and cute as a button through her correspondence, and just as I thought, her pictures show that I was right, and that even though Paul might think she is wordy, I think her words were perfect to tell why she and Paul are the perfect Match Made in Heaven!
Erin & Paul Meet…
Erin and Paul actually met at Erin’s birthday party through a mutual friend, and like a typical dude, Paul doesn’t remember that meeting, but he does remember meeting her two months later, when they became fast friends over email and started to date. We are so glad that Paul remembers meeting Erin the second time around!
Paul Proposes to Erin…
In August 2011 Erin wasn’t feeling well and Paul came over with flowers and champagne. Erin loved the flowers but thought to herself, why would he bring champagne when I’m sick! When she turned around from putting it in the fridge, there was Paul down on one knee with the ring box popping the question!
The wedding was planned for the following spring and took about seven months to plan. It was an intimate lovely affair that took place at the home of two of their best friends. The wedding party was small and Erin’s dad married the couple! How cute is that!!
Ohh, Laa, Laa The Honeymoon…
The honeymoon took place a few months after the wedding, but was well worth the wait! Imagine traveling around Normandy, Paris and London. I would certainly wait for that trip!

This is where Jonathan’s Fine Jeweler’s shines, when it comes to the special requests from our customers, like Erin and Paul. Erin and Paul were referred to Jay Freedman and they had a ring from Paul’s grandmother that they wanted reset. They were nervous about leaving it with us and wanted to be sure the stones would be the same and that the integrity of the remake would be really good.
Jay worked with them on the design, put them at ease and met with them several times to answer all their questions and made the experience fun. He made an engagement ring and wedding band that they get so many compliments on and they have referred many friends to Jay.
