Ahead of the red carpet premiere of TV One’s “We’re The Campbells” Erica Campbell is sharing what viewers can expect when they watch her new family docu-series.
Viewers will get to see her and husband Warryn Campbell raise their kids:
“I know a lot of times you actually don’t see the kids and the issues, but we’re really tapping into what happens with kids — feeling accepted, colorism, self–acceptance — all the while trying to manage our faith, our family,” Erica shared with the CP.
Some years ago, Erica and Warryn went through a rough patch in their marriage when Warryn cheated. The couple, who got through that season by practicing forgiveness will show viewers how to love and trust on a deeper level.

“I hope that viewers see real love, communication, honesty, growing past and even falling deeply in love of each other because of a different level of honesty,” Erica said of her marriage. “None of it can happen without forgiveness and because we are believers I have to lean on how would Jesus handle it.”
She continued,“Am I adhering to what I ask God to forgive me for? That’s what love is supposed to do. Even in a relationship, it’s sometimes the last thing we want to do. But I can’t feel justified as a believer asking God to give me something that I’m not willing to give. So I’m hoping that’s what they see,” she added.
The docu-series follows Gospel music power couple Warryn and Erica Campbell as they balance raising their family, building their own individual empires, growing their flourishing church ministry and maintaining their strong faith. Married since 2001, the show will allow viewers to follow Warryn and Erica as they manage their hectic daily work schedules while fostering a healthy marriage and raising three children with the help of their core group of family and friends. “We’re The Campbells” premieres Tuesday, June 19 at 8/7c on TV One.
