Eric Weinberger was born in 1969 (age 55 years; as of 2024) in New York City. Raised in a media family, his parents were prominent media personalities who influenced him to pursue a career in the same.

  • In 2003, Eric Weinberger joined the NFL Network where he served as the coordinating producer. He worked on the creation of the nightly show of record, NFL Total Access.
  • Before joining the NFL Network, he worked at Fox Sports’ Best Damn Sports Show Period and served as a senior producer from 2001 to 2003. At the same time, he also served at The Keith Olbermann Evening News from September 2000 to May 2001.
  • In 2006, Weinberger was promoted by NFL Network President and CEO Steve Bornstein as an executive producer wherein he used to supervise sports shows like NFL Gameday & Redzone, all talent and production staffing, on-screen look and programming content. 
  • In addition to sports shows, he oversaw all event coverage including Super Bowl Week, the NFL Scouting Combine, the NFL Red Carpet and the NFL Draft. Under his supervision, the team grew from 20 employees in 2003 to more than 500 in 2015.
  • After his tenure as a producer and executive producer, he was named President of the digital company, Bill Simmons Media Group.
  • He oversaw all operations, corporate budgets, human resources, and the on-budget of 70 full-time staff employees.
