Although Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) has always had a softer spot for Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), the last two seasons have shown the much gentler side of him. From his memory loss where he was staying with Sookie to his relationship with his progeny Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and even his determination to save Bill (Stephen Moyer) from himself last season, Eric has been less evil vampire and more nice guy. It seems that the Mr. Nice Guy routine will be coming to an end during Season 6 of HBO‘s True Blood. Skarsgard spoke with HollywoodLife.com at Piaget’s screening of his new film ‘The East’ and he revealed that this season we would see Eric doing some pretty nasty stuff!
Skarsgard revealed that he enjoys playing both sides of Eric saying:
I like them both. It’s fun to go back and forth, you get to play around with both sides. It’s always more interesting than one extreme or the other … when you have both within, and it’s an internal struggle.
He also admits that the Season 4 amnesia will still affect him in some ways but that Eric will be doing some evil deeds. What do you think Truebies? Do you prefer nice Eric or evil Eric?
