End of the RSS Google Reader for Subscribers July 1, 2013

Posted on the 15 March 2013 by Chrisbrown @ChrisBrown330

Chances are you’re reading this from your Google reader if you subscribe to this blog.  Google announced that they will discontinue the Google reader service on July 1.   Over the next few months, you’ll be able to make a switch by taking out your RSS subscriptions from the reader, saving them to your computer and uploading to a new service.

There are more than 50 alternatives.  What’s going to be your reader of choice after July 1, 2013 when Google turns the reader off?

Please complete the survey, so I can try to accommodate your needs:

RSS Feed Reader Choice Which Feed Reader will you use?
  • Feedly
  • NetVibes
  • NewsBlur
  • Pulse
  • Flipboard
  • Other

If you haven’t decided yet, consider subscribing via email so you don’t miss any posts.  You can always unsubscribe later after you’ve set up your feed reader.

I also have the poll in the right hand column for voting later, after you have had a chance to review your options and make a choice.
