Jammu and Kashmir News: Security forces have killed four militants in Anantnag district. It is being told that two to three terrorists were reported to be hiding in the area.
After this, local security forces along with the CRPF, police cordoned off the area on Sunday morning and carried out a search operation. All the terrorists were hiding under the ground by building a hideout.
The search operation turned into an encounter after the militants opened fire. A police officer said four militants were killed in an encounter with security forces in Dialgam area of Anantnag district in south Kashmir. However, his identity has not yet been revealed.
The slain terrorists include three LeT and Hizbul Mujahideen commander Anantnag Tariq Ahmed. A search operation is still being conducted in the area.
All the entrances to the village have been closed and security forces are conducting door-to-door search operations.

The Special Operations Group recovered an AK 47 rifle and two magazines with a pistol under-barrel Grenadaloncher (UGBL) with three magazines.
Earlier on Friday, two militant accomplices were arrested in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir and arms and ammunition were seized from their possession.
Militants were identified as Nazir Ahmed Wani and Bashir Ahmed Wani, residents of Sheikhpora Tarathpora in Vilgam area of North Kashmir district.
