With her extraordinary skillful couture beading abilities, a talent she shared with quintessential designs like Alexander McQueen, Emanuel Ungaro, Fendi, etc, Deepa collaborated with her FIT-studied, Tiffany and Bvlgari-trained jewelry designer husband, Jay Lakhani to create the collection of amazing pieces you see here. The colorful beaded and embroidered pieces are beyond striking, they are alluring with some pieces being both bold and whimsical (love the owl necklace). I find the statement necklaces very sensual and exotic - modern pieces that will certainly get you noticed.
Now anyone who knows me has most likely seen me wearing a headband - I adore them. I have been known to wear both classic colors and not so classic styles but the spectacular headbands from Deepa Gurnani will have me toss them all out and opt for her brilliantly embellished styles.
