Story: Elemental starts when fire elements Cinder and Bernie move to Element city. They open a business and raise their daughter Ember. However, her temper gets her in trouble and she accidently lets a water element Wade into the shop. Sadly, it leads to her family business facing closure and Ember must do everything to save the day.

Ember must adventure outside of her safer neighbourhood of fire residents and learn what drives the other residents of the big city. She works with Wade and the Earth and Air residents to learn a bigger problem the city is facing.

Verdict on Elemental

Elemental is an animated comedy following different elements living in one big city. When a fire element clashes with a water element they discover a new fondness for each other and team up to save her family business.

This movie continues Pixar’s ability to tap into bigger emotions and themes. In this one, we deal with different cultures, using the elements instead of racial divides. It proves people from different background can become one in a community no matter what. There is a strong message about learning who someone is before judging them and the most unusual people will step into your life and make it better. Sure, this isn’t filled with the wacky comedic supporting characters like many others, it still gives the same big hearted message.
