Their ceremony was filled to the brim with lush white florals and lovely details (we loved the marquee letters with their initials by Illuminography!) and the couple exchanged vows overlooking the majestic caldera view. «Roberto and I are both dance masters and international competitors. For many years, despite participating in the same events, we never had the opportunity to talk to each other, we knew each other by reputation but there was never the opportunity to exchange a few words. However, fate had a big surprise in store for us… I (Laura) had lost my partner in 2018 and wanted to continue dancing, So I asked my coach to find me a new partner but the condition was that he remained solely and exclusively a dance partner, I absolutely didn’t want any sentimental involvement. In January 2019 my coach called me to tell me that he had found the right partner for me…. This partner was Roberto! So much emotion on the day of our first test together…. We were as nervous as two kids at their first race! What we still remember now is the feeling we felt when we got closer…. It was as if we had known each other all our lives, our bodies were melded together perfectly.» the bride shared with us.
«I liked Roberto very much not only for his physical appearance but also for his way of acting, his kindness and his thousand attentions. Something I wasn’t used to… Despite this I didn’t want any sentimental involvement. At the end of January 2019, having to attend the Italian championships, we had the opportunity to spend a couple of days together, just for work…. But at the end of the two days when we had to say goodbye we felt an emptiness inside. Being together for two days he made us understand that a feeling was being born…. Something very beautiful… We continued our training as dance partners until March 22, 2019 when we went out to dinner and Roberto made me find a bouquet of flowers on the table but halfway through dinner he gave me a necklace with a diamond pendant in the shape of heart telling me…”this is my heart I hope you will never break it”….»
We fell madly in love with each other and started living our story. A love story of two people returning from two previous marriages who, despite previous experiences, had the will and desire to still believe in love and marriage. In September 2020 we decided to live together to spend as much time together as possible. In June 2022 Roberto organized a holiday in Santorini for my birthday. With the excuse of taking me out to dinner he took me to a beautiful terrace and on his knees showing me the ring he asked me to marry him.

«White was the predominant color as in the homes of Santorini and blended perfectly with the pastel colors of the guests’ clothes. Equally elegant and delicate was the reception area. For this area, in addition to white, the powder pink of the flowers, napkins and candles was combined with the gold color present in the finishes of the white padded chairs, glasses, placemats and cutlery. Furthermore, each guest had in front of their seat a sculpture of two hands forming a heart in the colors of gold or white. The scenography concluded with wonderful posters in shades of white and gold.»
In all sincerity, it is very difficult to pinpoint the best moment of our wedding because everything was beautiful and perfect. From the preparations, to the meeting at the altar, to our yes, to the reception, to the evening party. It was all wonderful!

«We changed 4 clothes. Two for the ceremony and two for the evening reception party. I (Laura) had a beautiful ivory Milla Nova mermaid dress in transparent lace embroidered with beads and glitter. The lace design was reminiscent of coral branches. Roberto wore an ivory dress with a damask jacket by Carlo Pignatelli. In the evening, we wore two party dresses. Mine (Laura) was a dress made entirely of Swarovski crystals, while Roberto wore a smoking dress with a white jacket and in his moccasins a Swarovski brooch matched my dress.»
