The bride shared with us: “I was John’s first tinder date and he was my 10th. The rest they say is history… After our first date it didn’t take long for us to start dating, and we quickly fell in love. I am a multi-media designer and he is a family lawyer. Yet we complement each other beautiful, have loud Mediterranean style fights and are surrounded by our families…”

“…It only took John 2 years to propose and it was the sweetest most sentimental proposal any girl could ask for. He proposed on our 2nd year anniversary at the very table, in the very restaurant that we first met at. Even though the evening started off a little rocky, it ended off beautifully! Once he had popped the question he took me next door for “coffee” and waiting excitedly where all the people we loved, even my sister in London was on an iPad! And so #theadventuresofrejo began!”

“We got married in Pretoria, South Africa. We wanted everyone to have an amazing day filled with laughter, love, amazing food and a very chilled ambience. That is why we decided to have our wedding during the day instead of an evening affair like most weddings.”

“We loved every tiny aspect of our wedding as every detail was meticulously picked to incorporate things from our lives. I wore my grandmother’s shoes that she brought to South Africa, when she came to marry my grandfather.”

“Our stefana where made of African traditional beads, and the confetti was designed to signify our wishes for our marriage. We even restored my father’s very first car that he bought when he immigrated to South Africa, our beloved Volksie was the center of attention on our wedding day.”

“We had a wonderful day and opened our first dance on the lawns of the venue instead of on the traditional dance floor. Dancing on grass is harder than it looks! After a feast that was brought to the tables we danced the night away with traditional Greek and Lebanese dancers. Every one of our guests enjoyed the day and we had a true festival for a wedding.”
