Lantec to start production of a new series of components for batteries focused on electric automobile.
New production line is launched on November to produce busbar as well as batteries by using laser welding.
Preliminary studies have been run out for a year to reach successful parameters. Busbars are made up of aluminum plate, typically 1 mm thick, on which a bush must be welded. (fig.1)
Finally busbar assemblies are welded to the battery to produce final assembly. (Fig.2)
