Story: Eileen starts when young prison worker Eileen (McKenzie) meets the new prison doctor Rebecca (Hathaway). Rebecca has joined the team to help assess the young prisoners and understand what drives them. It leads to the pair becoming friends and supporting each other through a male-oriented world.

However, their friendship changes dramatically and things spiral out of control. Eileen gets to experience some real instead of the routine she has found herself trapped in.

Verdict on Eileen

Eileen is a drama following a young secretary at a prison who becomes friends with the new doctor. It leads to her learning more about life, before finding something far more shocking going on in her life.

This movie looks at the struggles to break into the male-oriented world for two women. They have overcome struggles and see the worst and their new friendship offers something fresh. It shows how people will jump to conclusions and others will learn more before getting answers. In the end, this turns into something different and something that leaves too many questions for what it should do. It also feels like the victims were harshly treated.
