Four people were injured and admitted to the Nagollagama Hospital after a clash that erupted after a musical show held on Sunday (09) at the Nagollagama public fairground.
Nagollagama Hospital sources stated that one of the injured persons was in critical condition and was transferred to Kurunegala General Hospital for further treatment.
Following information from the 119 Police Emergency Number, the Nagollagama Police conducted investigations and arrested eight suspects involved in the attack and seized four motorbikes used by the suspects.
The Police say that they found a steel pipe and a knife used in the attack in the possession of the suspects. Police say that the suspects are in the 16 to 47 age group.
