And right now, honestly, I don’t feel like blogging much; I’m finishing up a book that will give me a subject (and outfit) to blog about, but these days I’ve felt a bit braindead. I’m nearing the third trimester of pregnancy, which means that my energy and brain are getting depleted pretty quickly, and all of the subjects I think of to post about don’t really catch my attention.

I have noticed in myself a tendency to be very categorical about blogging, where everything should have its proper place — something I should have figured out back when I first started and had (no joke) ten different blogs for different subjects — which makes it hard for me to break out of the fashion blog mold and introduce new things.

But lately, I have been wanting to introduce health/fitness journal type posts, and eventually I would love to share tidbits of life as well. Though the latter will come once we have our own house again.

Fitness and health, though, has been something on the back of my mind for a while. I am by no means an expert or an avid fitness junkie, which probably sets me apart from other mom bloggers who talk about fitness. The extent of my exercise is currently walking as far as I feel able (sometimes, not very far), and doing prenatal yoga when I find the chance.

And the extent of my healthy eating at the moment is focused on avoiding junk food. I would love to share what I’ve been doing, my goals, some recipes, videos I find helpful for busy moms/prenatal moms/postnatal moms, progress, and just my general thoughts so far as my journey to being stronger and more able to run after a toddler while pregnant.

I think most of all, fitness posts from me would be more about encouraging others to do what they can, and also journaling my attempts to do the best I can in being a healthy mom and pregnant lady.

Because right now, I get winded climbing our stairs from the basement or walking up the hill from our church to the cars, and I had a moment where I realized if this was how un-fit I was right now, how was I ever going to take care of two kids at once? So, after I’ve got a few more weeks under my belt (it’s been two weeks since I started taking consistent walks) I’ll hopefully be posting progress!

Any other moms out there wanting to get stronger and reach health goals? Please tell me I’m not the only one who can’t walk up stairs without breathing harder. Haha!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Tuesday!
