Eat Mexican and Maybe Do Some Yoga in Hackney Wick at La Terraza

By Djridings @fivethingsnow

Launching on Thursday 26th May 2016, La Terraza is a scorching new outdoor Mexican pop up coming to Hackney Wick’s canal for the summer. Open Wednesday – Sunday throughout the summer, La Terraza invites guests to drink, dine and dance waterside.

La Terraza will take place on the brand new terrace at Number 90 Bar & Kitchen, the stunning canalside venue in Hackney Wick. Featuring bottomless frozen margaritas, alongside Mexican street food and the coolest DJs Hackney has to offer, guests at La Terraza can soak up the bustling atmosphere from midday until well after sunset as barges and boats float by.

Available on Saturday and Sunday, and priced at £20, guests opting in for the bottomless margaritas can choose from a menu of delicious frozen passion fruit, strawberry or classic tommy margaritas from the on-terrace bar. Refreshing craft beer, tequila and a selection of creative soft drinks will also be available. Priced from £5 and featuring all the best Mexican classics from tacos and nachos to quesadillas, the fresh and fun street food offering will also feature healthy Mexican Super Food salads and even the chance to compete in a cricket eating competition.

Hosting everything from life drawing, to yoga sessions to acoustic sets to help guests unwind, La Terraza will hot up at the weekend with some of Number 90s biggest names performing exclusive DJ sets.

La Terraza will also feature an open air cinema programme, inviting Londoners to watch their favorite films alfresco, with a beverage in hand, and the canal floating by in the background. Complete with its very own on-deck bar and accommodating up to 100 guests, La Terraza is this summer’s perfect East London party spot and is also available for private hire. La Terraza Wednesday – Sunday 12pm
