Drop-off centers are in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. Most people I know have a connection to Brooklyn -- friends are driving back and forth from Boston all the time.
So...If you know someone, send a coat or two. If you know me, email me and I'll make sure the coats get there.

New York Cares is collecting new or clean gently used coats to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy. Over 50,000 coats are needed to help victims in areas such as Staten Island and the Rockaways.
Donations can be dropped of at the following three Prospect Park locations now through December 31:
