Egg thokku is easy to do dish. It goes well with rice as well as chapathi. It could be prepared within 30 minutes, and it is a great comfort food for egg lovers.
Things Required:
Boiled Egg: 3
Onion: 2
Tomato- 1
Curry leaves: Few
Coriander leaves: Few
Turmeric: Pinch
Chili powder: 1 Tsp
Coriander Powder: 1 Tsp
Fennel powder-1/4 Tsp
Pepper powder: 1/4 Tsp
Salt: According to taste
Oil: 2 tbsp
Procedure:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add onions to it. Saute it until it is translucent.
2. Add tomato and curry leaves to it. Allow it to cook for 2 minutes.
3. Add salt turmeric, chili, coriander, and fennel powder to it.
4. Sprinkle some water(3Tbsp), close the lid and allow it to cook for 5 minutes with intermediate stir.
5. Open the lid, add pepper powder and boiled egg to it.

* I have cut the egg into halves, instead but you could slit the egg and add it to the masala.
