An earthquake of 6.7 magnitude has occurred in the Indian ocean , South of Sumatra at a depth of 10kms. The tremor has occurred around 01.30am in the morning today (25 April).
According to the notice issued by the National Tsunami Early Warning Center there is no Tsunami threat to the from the earthquake to Sri Lanka.
