Earth Day – April 22, 2022

Earth Day was established in 1970 by an American man. Whose name was Senator Gerald Nelson. Nelson first told the people how much damage is being done to the environment due to industrial development.
For this, Nelson mobilized American society, and organized protests and many mass movements. As a result of this movement, the government had to listen to the demands of these agitators. And on seeing many environmental friendly decisions were taken by the government. And it was placed in the United Nations to discuss the issue globally. More than 192 countries gave their support to this issue in the United Nations.
And everyone promoted environmental protection in their respective countries. Environmental protection is a very important topic. Our environment is made up of all the natural things present on the earth like air, water, trees, plants. All these things together balance the environment. It is our duty to protect our environment. Nature has given us air, water, trees, plants, rivers, mountains and minerals present under the earth to help us.
