Early True Blood Seasons Available May 21 in Amazon-HBO Deal

If you have Amazon Prime, HBO series will soon be joining the line up of shows you can stream online for free; including True Blood.  Amazon and HBO announced an agreement last week. It is significant because until now, HBO Go was the only way one could access programming from the network on any other streaming platform.

Starting May 21st 2014, Amazon Prime subscribers will have access to early seasons of True Blood and Boardwalk Empire as well another series such as The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, The Wire, Big Love, Deadwood, Eastbound & Down, Family Tree, Enlightened, and Treme. Nothing specific has been mentioned about which seasons of True Blood would appear.

Veep, The Newsroom, and Girls will follow later as dictated by the terms of the agreement. HBO Go will also be made available on Amazon’s new streaming device Fire TV.

The new deal couldn’t come at at better time for Truebies as the June 22nd Season 7 Premiere date will give us plenty of time to take a trip down memory lane.
