I bought some instant espresso powder to make my Coffee Cake Muffins last week and I realized it was going to last me forever. I decided to try making a breakfast smoothie with it and it turned out to be really delicious.
Breakfast Shake Recipe:
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup ice
1/2 cup old-fashioned oats
1 heaping teaspoon espresso powder
1 banana – peeled
1 tablespoon honey
You could definitely make substitutions with this recipe. Use a teaspoon of sugar instead of honey, try soy milk or almond milk, skip the oats, add protein powder, the possibilities are endless!
