Digital artists and other creatives would be delighted to have this in their arsenal, though the Surface Slim Pen requires a separate purchase, as does the Type Cover keyboard. The Surface Pro X is powered by an ARM-based SQI chipset that was jointly manufactured with Qualcomm. Microsoft claims that this processor can run up to three times faster than the Surface Pro 6 and, as expected, performed surprisingly well in all of our tests. The 15-inch touchscreen on this laptop has a pixel resolution of 2,496 x 1,664 pixels and is sharp, beautiful and full of vivid colors. There is a Windows Hello IR webcam that enables password-free login. In addition, the Surface Laptop 3 can last up to 11 hours of continuous use. While it's a good number, we've seen better in other wearable devices. After all, this laptop is powered by an AMD Ryzen processor, which Microsoft claims is twice as fast as the Surface Laptop 2.
