Eagles starting linebacker Nakobe Dean suffered a knee injury in the first half against the Packers and has been ruled out for the game. Dean was carted off the field after needing assistance to leave and veteran Oren Burks has taken his place. Dean had a strong season with the Eagles, recording 128 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 6 QB hits, 4 pass breakups, and an interception. Fellow linebacker Zack Baun now has the green dot on his helmet to relay play calls. Before his injury, Dean led the team in tackles and had 2 TFLs in the game.
