Eades – ‘Forgive My Mind’

Eades have shared the video for ‘Forgive My Mind’. Full of live footage from a sold-out show in Leeds that they played before lockdown, it will make you miss the buzz and sticky floors of your favorite local venue as you discover a new favorite band. The song itself is a potent piece of slacker pop with plenty of fuzz, gang vocals about thoughts running through your head and J. Mascis-esque hooks.

The band have also opened up the basement studio they work in for artists in their local scene. Under the guise of Bam Bam Records (the label with which they put all their own music through), the ultimate plan is to cultivate a scene of artists helping each other with production, writing and performing, and release on the label. With the financial impact the pandemic has had on those in the arts industry, this agility to work around the ever-shifting guidelines and form strong bonds with like-minded folks in the community has to be celebrated.
