Dying Light Save Game Location – Windows, Mac & Linux – Find the Save game & Save file through the Steam Library Folder

All Save Files and Save Games are saved through Steam Cloud, so the only thing you have to find is the Steam Library Capeta (we’ll explain how below), and from there the path is the same whether you play from Windows or from Mac

Dying Light Save Game Location – Steam Cloud

This is the global path (Windows, Mac & Linux), check below how to find the Steam Library Folder:

Save File & Save Game Location: Steam library folder > userdata > a folder named after your Steam account’s SteamID3 > 239140 > remote > out > save

Steam Library Folders Location

The dedault path for the steam library is

• Windows > C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Steam
• Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/Steam
• Linux: ~/.steam/steam

But if you can’t find the folder in the default path follow these steps.

1. Launch Steam
2. Click on Steam (Upper left)
3. Click on Settings
4. Downloads (Left Menu)
5. Steam Library folders (Central menu)
6. A window will pop up, find the steam library folders path there

Once you have found the path of the steam library folder, follow these steps depending on whether you play from Windows or Mac

Steps to find the save files on Windows:

1. File Explorer (Start menu > Right Click > File Explore)
2. Go to the Steam library folder (explained in the first section of this guide)
3. Userdata folder
4. Folder named after your Steam3ID (a folder with a lot of numbers)
5. 239140 Folder >  Remote folder > Out Folder > Save Folder
6. You should find the save file & save game there, in the save folder

Dying Light Save Game Location – Mac

Steps to find the save files on Mac:

1. Open up a Finder Window
2. Press Command + Shift + G
3. Go to the Steam library folder (explained in the first section of this guide)
4. Userdata folder
5. Folder named after your Steam3ID (a folder with a lot of numbers)
6. 239140 Folder >  Remote folder > Out Folder > Save Folder
7. You should find the save file & save game there, in the save folder
