The “shut up and dribble” comments came from Laura Ingraham, who earlier this month, called herself responding to a video in which LeBron James and Kevin Durant accused Donald Trump of “not caring about the people,” Inghraham told Lebron and Durant to “shut up and dribble,” urging them to steer clear of politics.

“This is what happens when you attempt to leave high school a year early to join the NBA,” she said.

“Oh, and LeBron and Kevin? You’re great players but no one voted for you. Millions elected Trump to be their coach. So keep the political commentary to yourself, or as someone once said, shut up and dribble.”

Lebron who wasn’t going, responded, during NBA All-Star weekend.

“I get to sit up here and talk about social injustice, equality and why a woman on a certain network decided to tell me to ‘shut up and dribble,'” James said at a news conference. “So, thank you, whatever her name is. I don’t even know her name.”
